Gartner: Symbian Still Outsold Android In Fourth Quarter 2010

Different day, different market research organisation, different statistics. Contrary to Canalys’ recent report which stated that Android shipments in the last quarter of last year exceeded Symbian’s shipments, Gartner saysthat when legacy Symbian devices from other manufacturers such as Fujitsu, Sharp and Sony Ericsson are included, Symbian still outsold Android, but just barely.
